Dentists Report Increase In Teeth Grinding and Recommend Mouth Guards as Inexpensive Solution

ProDental Mouth Guard

Kansas, MO - Accoring to a report by CBSNEWS there has been an increase in patients visiting their practices, and some say it is due to the overwhelming stress people are under due to economic troubles.

"Dentists all over the country are reporting that they're seeing more patients suffering from teeth grinding - and they're attributing it to the recent economic woes," says CBSNEWS.

CBSNEWS goes on to say, "According to the New York Times, one dentist reported 20-25 percent increase over a year. Another said teeth-grinding cases have doubled in the past 18 months."

One of the biggest problems is that if one does not have a significant other, or someone that is with them at night to hear the teeth grinding, many times it goes unnoticed and untreated. Some symptoms of teeth grinding can be headaches, oversensitive teeth, sore facial muscles, pain in the jaw as well as damage to the inside of ones cheek.

Reparing any damage caused by teeth grinding can be very expensive. Some of the repair procedures may be bridges, crowns, dentures or even implants to replace the damaged teeth.

CBSNEWS goes on to recommend five ways to combat the wear-and-tear on ones teeth. The least expensive solution was to use an over the counter mouth guard that can be molded to fit your teeth.

Thankfully, ProDental, a current retailer on the mega shopping portal, Amazon.com has released a dentist designed night guard that has been getting rave reviews from customers.

"My wife told me recently that I've been grinding my teeth at night, which explains why I would wake up with a sore jaw. Anyway, I got these mouth guards from ProDental and followed the instructions to mold them, and according to my wife, the grinding has stopped and I no longer wake up with a sore jaw," said Jim, a happy customer.

"We wish would could help eliminate stress in people's lives so they would stop grinding their teeth...but unfortunately at this time we can't. But what we can do is provide an inexpensive solution with our mouth guards," said Don, a company representative.

If users require assistance with the fitting or molding process they can receive it from a professional. There is always a dentist on staff to provide the help that the client needs either by email or phone. The customer can be provided with supreme customer service and even lab support.

The thermoplastic material used to make the night guards are FDA approved. The mouth guard is also made in the USA and guaranteed to be hygienic. The product is made from odor free and taste free polyvinyl material. The dental guards are soft but also long lasting. According to ProDental the dental guard can last up to twelve months or longer when used daily.
