"It's a huge project," says Bendall, "and we'll move your piano into our workshop while we work on it, and back to your home once it's done." Fortunately, piano restringing is not part of routine maintenance. It generally has to be done just once every few decades at most. But when it's needed, getting it done can make a huge difference and literally restore the sound of a piano to its former beauty.
